01 / YOUR PARTICIPANTS

One name per line.

2–32 unique labels, up to 60 characters each. Outer blank lines are ignored; blank lines inside the list are rejected. Spaces are tidied and duplicate checks ignore letter case. Full label rules.

Side A and Side B are generic labels. They do not assign venues, chess colours or a home/away fairness rule.

Rounds are logical groups. They are not a timetable, simultaneous-court allocation or event booking. See the limits.

WHY THE COUNTS WORK

Count pairs,
then group them.

A single round-robin has n × (n − 1) ÷ 2 matches. Each team meets every other team once. A double round-robin has twice those pairings, with the listed sides reversed in the second leg.

For an odd number of teams, one team is idle each round. A bye is shown separately and never counted as a played match. Follow the four- and five-team examples.
